ARTIST AND DIRECTOR TODD FJELSTED:
One of my favorite people in the whole wide world. Shot with an SX-70.
Once upon a time I quit my job, bought a new car, sold most of my belongings, and packed up what I had left into a 4x6 trailer and moved to LA. I had a place to live and no job. Three months later I still had no job ...needless to say, I'm back in NC. I never regret anything and I wouldn't change a single decision I've ever made. Life is great that way.
Shot with a Polariod JoyCam, disposable Polaroid camera... does anyone know if they still make them? How about film for an I-zone?

MACRO MONARCH:
My first experience w/ photo macography.
Shot with a Canon 5D and ring flash at ISO 400 at 1/60 @ f3.5. This beautiful baby has been in my freezer since September. I did not kill him, he was a victim of a hit and run on the Blue Ridge Parkway during the Monarch migration south. I had a friend drive very slowly as I jumped out of my car to pick up the dying butterflies dotting the roadway. Tragic butterflies.
